Think I’ll go to Boston

This week has been a flurry of activity to prepare for spending this weekend with my little sister in Boston.  As the semi-responsible person I am I have been trying to get as much work done as possible so that I can enjoy this weekend away without having to worry too much about catching up on work and school, though I know there will be some of that as well.

This afternoon I am leaving straight from class to head to the airport which means that this moment is spent getting my apartment ready for someone to look at this weekend in the morning while also trying to finish packing (and writing this blog post). I’ve been out of milk for two days (a blessing and a curse), and I still have to do the dishes.

So next week I will be back with pictures from my trip and what we did.  I have no idea what we’re going to do because the last time I went to Boston I was twelve.  Any suggestions?

  1. I’m biased, but Boston has some PRETTY awesome museums, like the Museum of Science in Cambridge, the Museum of Fine Art and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (site of the most expensive art heist of the 20th century!)

Harvard Square is also a really cool place to shop/sight see/eat.

If it’s not too cold, the Freedom Trail is a self-guided walking tour of a bunch of super awesome Boston sights. All you have to do is follow the red line painted (or bricked) into the sidewalks!

Also Boston has a really cool Ghost Tour called Ghosts and Graveyards.

    • I love that I get this as soon as I get home. ‘_’ We did do the Museum of Fine Art though, it was pretty cool. I had such plans of taking millions of pictures, but then my camera battery died. :P
